Emily A. Beck

Emily A. Beck, age 84, passed away peacefully at her home in North East, Maryland, on January 2, 2026. She was born on July 19, 1941, in Drift, Kentucky. Emily was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and woman of faith. She was married to her loving husband, Frank A. Beck Jr. for over 66 years. 

She was a proud mother to her children: Lester Beck (Pam), Carolyn Fieman (Dan), and Steven Beck (Annette). Emily also leaves behind 10 grandchildren: Chris Beck (Hollie), Lucas Beck (Emily), Tanah Reaves, Ella Grace Schaid, Steven Beck Jr., Shawn Beck (Karin), Austin Beck, Christopher Barber, Shannon Howard (Nick), and Briice Beck. Along with 11 great-grandchildren: Lily Beck, Emily Beck, Link Beck, Kit Brunson, Cameron Beck, Aubrie Beck, Melaina Howard, Kamila Beck, Talisa Beck, Ryker Beck, and Rowan Beck. She was preceded in death by her parents, Perry Sexton and Ellen Casebolt Sexton; her beloved great-grandson, Parker Beck; and twelve of her siblings.

Emily faithfully attended Rising Sun Church of God, where she shared her love of music by singing and playing the piano, along with several other instruments. Her musical talents and joyful spirit were a blessing to many. Throughout her life, Emily was known for her strong work ethic. She was employed at Sandy Cove Ministries and also worked at Anchor Hocking in Salem, New Jersey.

 A memorial service will be held for Emily at the Rising Sun Church of God in Port Deposit, Maryland. Details will be announced by the family. Honorary pallbearers are Chris Beck, Lucas Beck, Steven Beck Jr, Shawn Beck, Austin Beck and Briice Beck.

 Emily will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her music, her dedication to family, and her gentle nature. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
