Ella Mae Sexton

Ella Mae Sexton, age 88, of Fairfax, VA, died Friday, October 17, 2003, at her son's home in Vienna, VA. Born in Edison, NC, on April 21, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Charles Miller and Hattie Barr Miller. Mrs. Sexton retired from Alexandria Hospital, Alexandria, VA, as a nurses aide. She enjoyed her family. Mrs. Sexton was the wife of the late Conley P. Sexton, who died March 25, 1995. She is survived by her five children, Earl D. Sexton, Perryville, MD, Lillie Lois Tweed, Rising Sun, MD, Eva M. Peyton, Hollywood, FL, Joseph G. Sexton, Vienna, VA, and Bessie A. Gelinas, White Lake, MI, siblings, Bruce Miller and Lillie Church both of Lansing, NC, 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 23, 2003, at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. The Rev. Dennis R. Gilbert, Sr., of the Charlestown Missionary Baptist Church, 1168 West Old Philadelphia Road, Charlestown, MD will officiate. Family and friends are invited to visit from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Wednesday, October 22, 2003, at the funeral home. Interment will follow services in Darlington Cemetery, Darlington, MD.
