Elizabeth Ann (Slauch) Lyle Frist

Elizabeth Ann Lyle Frist, 86 of Rising Sun, MD, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018 at home.

Born in Nottingham, PA, on February 6, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Harry J. and Kathryn S. (Martin) Slauch.

All knew her as Betty, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.  She was a residence of Cecil County for over 50 years, working at Calvert Manor Healthcare Center as a nurse’s aide for many of those years.

A member of Nottingham Presbyterian Church, Betty loved spending time with her church family.

She is survived by one son: Donald C. Lyle, Jr. (Debra) of Rising Sun, MD and one daughter: Winnie Gochneaur (Robert Jr.) of Elkton, MD; and two grandchildren: Jennifer and Donnie.

In addition to her parents, Betty was also preceded in death by her first husband: Donald Lyle, Sr.; and her second husband: Donald Frist; sister: Mabel Lyle and brother: John Slauch.

Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Merritt N. Schatz will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 10:00 am at Nottingham Presbyterian Church, 497 West Christine Road, Nottingham, PA, with visitation beginning at 9:00 am until service.

Interment will follow in West Nottingham Cemetery, Colora, MD.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to Nottingham Presbyterian Church or American Heart Association, both in care of Crouch Funeral Home, 127 S. Main St., North East, MD  21901.
