Elizabeth Thompson Hammond

Elizabeth Thompson Hammond, 70 of Elkton, MD, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 26, 2023 in the Accent Care, Christiana, Newark, DE.

A lifelong resident of Elkton, she was born on July 25, 1953, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Mary (Brown) Thompson.

Elizabeth was a graduate of Elkton High School and attended college for Business Administration.

Left to cherish her memory are three sisters: Tina Turner, Hattie Brown and Doris Wallace; one brother: James Wallace; numerous grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was also preceded in death by her first husband: George Stewart; second husband; Anthony Hammond, Sr.; son: Anthony Hammond, Jr.; and two daughters: Mary Ray and Michelle Hammond.
