Edward Wentz Pyle

Edward Wentz Pyle, 69 of Elkton, MD, died Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center-University of MD, Bel Air, MD.

Born in PA, on January 30, 1952, he was the son of the late Carroll E. Pyle and Nedith (VanDyke) McKinney.

Prior to his retirement, Edward worked as a concrete finisher.

He was a former member of the North East Lions Club and Elkton Moose Lodge.  He enjoyed watching NASCAR, gardening, eating crabs and meeting at the picnic table.  Most of all, Edward loved his family and the times they spent together. The annual Christmas Eve family gathering was his favorite.

Survivors include his loving wife: Grace A. (VanSant) Pyle; 3 children: Tonya M. Pyle of Nashville, TN, Keith E. Pyle (Belinda) of Elkton, MD and Jessica Pyle of Elkton, MD; 4 siblings: Cathy Murray (Duane) of Elkton, MD, David Pyle (Annette) of FL, Beverly Fawcett (Bill) of WV and Emily Weidner (Steve) of Louisville, KY. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and 1 on the way.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am.

Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
