Edward M. Hardesty

Edward M. Hardesty, 64 of North East, MD, died Saturday, July 16, 2005 in the Union Hospital Of Cecil County, Elkton, MD.Born in West Virginia, on March 14, 1941, he was the son of the late Walter and Carol Orndoff Hardesty. Mr. Hardesty was a resident of Cecil County since 1968 and he was owner/operator of his own excavating and plumbing business. He was a member of the North East Faith Tabernacle Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, the late Eva Linda Collins.Survived by his wife, Mary Costner Hardesty of North East, MD; children, Debra E. Upchurch of Elkton, MD and Kitten Lee Woody of Rising Sun, MD; siblings, James Hardesty of Rising Sun, MD and Neldra "Sue" Rockwell of Florida; grandchildren, Michelle Anderson of Elkton, MD, Crissy Fleetwood and Justin Collins, both of Newark, DE, Anthony Woody and Shawn Woody, both of North Carolina, and Jason Forino of North East, MD; and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, July 19, 2005, at the North East Faith Tabernacle, Pulaski Hwy, North East, MD, where visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon, prior to services.Rev. James Lawson will officiate. Interment will follow services in Union Cemetery, Union Church Road, Elkton, MD.In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be sent to North East Faith Tabernacle, P.O.
