Edna Mae Scott

Edna Mae Scott, 73 of Elkton, MD, died Tuesday, January 11, 2005 in the Union Hospital Of Cecil County, Elkton, MD. Born in Wytheville, VA, on September 4, 1931, she was the daughter of the late James R and the late Hattie M Wright Scott. Mrs Scott was a homemaker who enjoyed watching wrestling and westerns; she loved John Wayne. She also enjoyed shopping and spending time with her grandchildren. Survived by her children: Lisa Kay Lyall, Middletown, DE, Charlotte Walsh, Newark, DE, Jeannie Hess, and Loretta Lynn Gruber, both of North East, MD; Siblings: Ruby Moore, Irene Martin, Emery Scott, Jack Scott, and John Scott; 7 Grandchildren: James Peirce, Kaitlyn Peirce, McKayla Kay Lyall, William Walsh, Erin Walsh, Matthew Gruber, and Michael Gruber. She was preceded in death by her son, the late Kenneth Lee Scott, and her sister, the late Juanita Spencer. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 14, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD.Friends may call Thursday, January 13, 2005 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.The Rev. Daniel Gedman of North East United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
