Edna M. (Simpers) Foreacre

Edna M Foreacre, 83 of North East, MD, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at home.

A lifelong resident of North East, she was born on May 27, 1935, the daughter of the late Howard and Alma (Kist) Simpers.  She was the wife of the late Clifford L. Foreacre, Sr. who passed April 18, 2007.

Edna was a member of St. Mary Anne’s Episcopal Church, North East, MD, where she was a member of the choir and ECW.  She enjoyed cooking and sewing, but the light of her life was her family.  She loved the time spent with them, and seeing her family grow with the addition of each beloved grandchild and great grandchild.

Survivors include her children: Patricia A. Ford of North East, MD, Clifford L. Foreacre, Jr. of North East, MD, Anita M. D'Antonio of Elkton, MD and Mary C. Geib of Bear, DE; a brother: Howard Simpers of Elkton, MD; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; and her best friend: Lona Tanner.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 26, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at 11:00 am at St. Mary Anne's Episcopal Church, 315 South Main Street, North East, MD.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
