Eddie Ruel Stamper, Sr.

Eddie Ruel Stamper, Sr., 61 of North East, MD, died Friday, September 19, 2008 in the John Hopkins Bay View, Baltimore, MD. Born in Danville, VA, on August 24, 1947, he was the son of the late Eddie Bruce and the late Martha Eloise Mitchell Stamper. He was a Dump Truck Driver, employed by Pleasant Valley Trucking. He also worked as a Bel Air Police Officer and was a member of the Maryland National Guard. He greatly enjoyed his 1972 Chevelle. Survivors include his children: Eddie R. Stamper, Jr. of Havre De Grace, MD; Stephanie M. Stamper of Rising Sun, MD; Eddie B. Stamper of Rising Sun, MD; and Brandon Wiles of North East, MD; and his grandson: Maverick C. Wiles of North East, MD. Funeral service will be held Thursday, September 25, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation for family and friends on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will be private.
