Dylan Edward Maxwell, 21, of Newark, Delaware, formerly of Perryville, Maryland, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2026. He was born on November 1, 2004, in Elkton, Maryland.

Dylan was a young man with his whole life ahead of him, still discovering who he was and what the future might hold. He was a hard worker who took pride in his work as a plant operator with H&K Group. Those who knew him knew that Dylan could appreciate the simple pleasures in life and genuinely enjoyed the things that made him happy.

Dylan loved the freedom of riding his motorcycle and enjoyed spending time at the beach whenever he had the opportunity. He had an interest in firearms and enjoyed gaming on his PlayStation, finding entertainment and escape in the games he loved. Above all, Dylan valued his time with the people who were important to him and the moments that made life feel meaningful.

At 21 years old, Dylan's story was only beginning. There were still places he had yet to go, experiences he had yet to have, and memories he had yet to make. Though his time was much too brief, the life he lived was meaningful to those who loved him. He was a son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend, and each of those relationships tells a different part of the story of who Dylan was.

Dylan will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Christina R. Daniels; his father, James E. Maxwell; his grandparents, Lynn and Jay Lang and Jim and Marty Maxwell; his aunt, Kimberly Cook; his brother, C.J. Griffin; his sister, Chloe Maxwell; his cousins, Jacob Cook and Kayla Cook; and many other relatives and friends who will carry his memory in their hearts.

For those who loved Dylan, his absence will be deeply felt, in the quiet moments, in familiar places, and in the memories of the time they shared with him. While there are no words that can make the loss of a young life easier, his family can find comfort in knowing that Dylan's life mattered, that he was loved, and that the memories he gave them will remain a part of their lives.

Though Dylan was gone far too soon, he will not be forgotten. His memory will live on in the people who loved him, the stories they share, and the countless small reminders of the young man whose life touched theirs.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, Maryland. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at the funeral home.
