After a bold and active life, Dwayne Robert Swan, 49, passed away on June 12, 2026. Dwayne loved spending his days working outdoors with dogs, his nights around the fire pit, and his talents on pranks, adventures, and spreading joy.
Dwayne leaves behind his parents, Linda and David Tyler; his brothers, Ryan (Melissa) Warren, Kyle Warren, and Roland (Kim) Tyler; and his nieces, Zoe Warren, Sophia Warren, and Davanee Tyler. He is survived by his partner, and the love of his life, Christi Biddle, along with her children, Bella Biddle and Gage Baber, and their dogs: Cooper, Trent, and Lucy. Some of his happiest years were spent as part of the farm where he lived with Christi.
Dwayne will be deeply missed by many members of his family, including aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends. He had special bonds with a number of his family: his uncle Charlie Swan, who was raised alongside him like a brother; his cousin Crystal Duguay, who was always found by Dwayne’s side at family gatherings, and his cousin Buster Paquet, who was a great source of friendship and youthful mischief.
Dwayne was born on May 14, 1977, and graduated from Messalonskee High School in 1995. His winsome personality earned him favor wherever he worked due to his dedication and work ethic. Throughout his life, Dwayne held several positions in food service, property maintenance, and animal training, serving as Lead Pet Solutions Technician at Invisible Fence since 2019.
A visitation will be held on June 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM, followed by an 11:00 AM funeral service at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD 21901. After the service, friends and family will gather for a celebration of life at the local VFW, 815 Turkey Point Rd, North East, MD 21901.
Services will be held in Maine for family and friends in the coming weeks, with further details forthcoming. Dwayne's final resting place will be at the East Bethel Cemetery in East Bethel, Maine.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to your local animal shelter in Dwayne’s honor.
