Dwayne Robert Long

Dwayne Robert Long, 61 of Elkton, MD, passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 15, 2022.

He was born in Wilmington, DE, on November 17, 1961.

Dwayne worked as a heavy equipment operator for 30 years at Interstate Construction.  He was currently working for Nichols Excavating.

He was a very talented guitar player; was a history buff and enjoyed collecting and assembling World War II and vintage airplane models.  He also enjoyed deep sea fishing.

Survivors include his loving wife: Cherry Marie (Seymore) Long; his stepdaughter: Ra'Chelle Church; sister: Joan Conrad; brother: Olin Evans; granddaughter: Jazlyn Patchell; and great grandson: Levi Jacob.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD.

Private interment will be in Bel Air Memorial Gardens, Bel Air, MD.
