Duane retired from York Building Products where he worked as a mechanic. He enjoyed watching NASCAR.
He is survived by his loving wife: Alma Taylor; his children: Duane Junior Taylor (Alicia Tuttle) of Rising Sun, MD and Penny Lynn Thims of Aberdeen, MD; his mother: Esma (Sexton) Gibson of Whitesburg, KY; a sister: Janice Gibson of Whitesburg, KY; and 4 half-brothers: Jesse Stamper, Darrell Gibson and David Gibson all of Whitesburg, KY and Arnold Gibson of Topmost, KY; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father: Herman Taylor.
