It is with shattered hearts and profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Drason Campbell, who left us too soon at the age of 25.
Drason was a vibrant, kind-hearted soul who believed in Jesus, lived life wide open, and made a positive impact on so many people. He had an infectious energy and a generous heart that naturally drew people to him. Drason died doing exactly what he loved riding his motorcycle and feeling the freedom of the open road. His passion for speed didn’t stop there; he loved fast cars and anything with a roaring engine.
Football was a huge part of Drason’s life. He loved the game, whether he was cheering on his favorite team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, or battling on the field himself. Drason proudly played center for the Aberdeen Bulldogs, anchoring the line for an undefeated team and passionately leading his brotherhood toward the championship game.
But Drason’s greatest victory wasn’t a trophy, it was his character. He kept a sacred, lifelong promise to his beloved grandmother, his angel in heaven, to never touch drugs. He lived his life with a pure heart and a clean spirit, serving as a bright guiding light for everyone around him. Drason had a rare gift for lifting others up, touching and changing countless lives in the most positive way.
He brought that same fierce loyalty, strength, and dedication to his friendships and family, leaving an unforgettable mark on every life he touched. He leaves behind a legacy of laughter, loyal friends, and beautiful memories. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Drason is survived by his loving mother, Dawn Singleton; his father, Marvin Campbell; his sisters, Ashley White and Hymayo Campbell; his brothers, Escapontay Campbell, Tyler Florian, and Adrian Mendarte Jr.; his wife, Amanda; and his cherished nieces, Amirah Coles and Kei’myla Pope-Campbell. He also leaves behind a massive circle of family, friends, coworkers, fellow riders, and teammates who will miss him beyond measure.
A celebration of Drason’s life will be held on November 7, from 2–5 p.m., at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD 21901
