Dorothy Marie Weber, beloved sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on September 22, 1942, in Elkton, MD, Dorothy lived a vibrant life filled with art, travel, and an unwavering zest for adventure. For many years, she dedicated her professional life to accounting at the U.S. Army's Aberdeen Proving Ground, where her remarkable skills and dedication did not go unnoticed.
Dorothy was an independent woman whose spirit was as colorful as the oil paintings she cherished and created. She had a deep love for travel that took her from the rolling emerald hills of Ireland to the historic streets of Rome, Italy, where she found beauty in every corner. Her explorations were not merely journeys, but expressions of a life well-lived and a heart that sought connection across cultures.
She is survived by her cherished nephews, Robert Weber and wife, Diana of North East, MD, Bruce Weber and wife Kristen, of Cochranville, PA, also great nephew, Robert Weber, Jr., and girlfriend, Jane Eveland, of North East, MD. She took joy in her great-great nephews, Travis Weber, Chase Vasquez, Colton Weber, and her great-great niece, Falon Weber
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Dorothy (Kelly) Weber, her brother, Larry Weber, and her sister-in-law, Billie Lee Weber.
Private internment will be in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
