Dorothy Virginia (Dickson) Snyder

Dorothy Virginia Snyder, 94 of Rising Sun, MD, died Saturday, August 17, 2013 in the Union Hospital of Cecil County, Elkton, MD.

Born in Huntington, PA, on October 30, 1918, she was the daughter of the late James and the late Lillian (Huffman) Dickson.

Mrs. Snyder, a homemaker, enjoyed spending time with her family.

Dorothy is survived by her son: George W. Snyder of Rising Sun, MD. She is also survived by grandchildren: Erin Matcalph, Gary, Richard, and Brett Anderson. She is a great-grandmother to Addison, Sydney, John and Dana, and great-great-grandmother to Thomas.

Mrs. Snyder is predeceased by her husband: Harry William Snyder and daughter: Flora Anderson.

Burial will take place in Arlington National Cemetery.
