Dorothy Reid Sheets

Dorothy Reid Redick Sheets, 67 of North East, MD, died Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Elkton Care and Rehab, Elkton, MD. Born in Wilmington, DE, on August 23, 1944, she was the daughter of Mary L. Redick of Bear, DE and the late Robert Redick. Dot enjoyed going to VFW Post 6027 in North East, MD where she would sing karaoke and was known as "Hot Dot". She loved being with her friends and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her loving children: Christopher J. Bilas and his wife Ardra of North East, MD, Tammy L. Turner of SC and Laura L. Geiger and her husband Charles of North East, MD; 5 sisters: Susan, Janie, Linda, Donna, Debbie; 3 brothers: Bobby, Tommy, Mikey; and 5 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation for family and friends beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
