Dorothy L. (Ewing) Hopkins
Born in North East, MD, on September 14, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Leon and the late Mammie (Dennison) Ewing. She was the wife of the late Frank P. Hopkins who died on Jan. 2, 1981.
She is survived by 2 loving daughters: Charlotte Kelly of Newark, DE, Judy Hall and husband Rick of North East, MD; 3 brothers: James, Carl and Robert Ewing and 1 sister: Mary Lou Miller; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren, with one on the way; and 6 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Dorothy was also preceded in death by a son: Frank E. Hopkins; a daughter: JoAnne Smith; and one granddaughter.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM until service.
Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
