Dorothy Jane Gonce

Dorothy Jane Gonce, 72 of Charlestown, MD, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2006. Born in Chester, PA, on February 12, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Henry and the late Helen Young Denny. Dorothy was a retired Supply Clerk for Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Aberdeen, MD. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and St. John's United Methodist Church. Dorothy enjoyed crossword puzzles and water color paintings. She also had a passion for crocheting and traveling. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband John Earl Gonce, Sr. who passed away June 22, 2001. Mrs. Gonce is survived by; one son: John E. and daughter-in law Judy Gonce, Perryville, MD two brothers: Henry Denny of Elkton, MD George Denny of Elkton, MD Grandson: John Gonce of West Chester, PA Granddaughter: Angie Gonce of Elkton, MD Great Grandson:Adrien Poperechny of Linwood, PA and extended family Kimberly Boutchyard. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, January 20, 2006 at the Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD where friends and family may call from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Rev. Mary Browne will officiate. Interment will be in the Gilpin Manor Memorial Park, Elkton, MD.
