Dorothy Elizabeth (Hutchins) Preston
Born in Dover, DE, on October 2, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Nolan and Mary Hutchins. She was the wife of the late Donald S. Preston who died Oct. 17, 2003.
Mrs. Preston was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. She had worked as a Teacher’s Aid at North East Elementary School.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Donna Lattimore of York, SC, Connie Vaught of Smyrna, SC and 1son: Michael Preston of Chesapeake City, MD; 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a son: Bruce Preston; and sister: Nola Martin.
Memorial services, conducted by Father Jim Yeakel will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 11:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 454 Bow Street, Elkton, MD.
Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
