Dorothy Rebecca Clark

Dorothy Rebecca Clark, 83 of Elkton, MD, died Friday, February 6, 2009 at Singerly Manor Assisted Living, Elkton, MD. A resident of Cecil County for over 45 years, she was born in Philadelphia, PA, on September 19, 1925, the daughter of the late Malcolm G. and the late Mary C. Schmidtinger Clark. Mrs. Clark retired from the Federal Government, working at Aberdeen Proving Ground and Bainbridge. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, computers and reading. She is survived by one daughter: Gloria McCool and her husband Ralph W. McCool II of Elkton, MD and one son: Daniel E. Dougherty and his wife Lee of Winter Park, FL; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lois Karpinski. Services will be private.
