Dorothy Williams Cather

Dorothy Williams Cather, 99 of Rising Sun, MD, passed away Friday, December 21, 2018 at home.

Born in North East, MD, on August 25, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Marshall and Tracie (Ayres) Williams.  She was the wife of the late Arthur Cather who died in 1983.

She is survived by her son-in-law: Matthew Wilson, Jr. of Rising Sun, MD; a brother: Earl Williams of VA; 3 grandchildren: Teresa Marshall, Kim Carroll and Matthew Wilson III; 6 great grandchildren: Breanna, Chloe, Tessa and Max Marshall, Rickey Jr. and Michael McDaniels; and 3 sisters: Ella Mae Heath of MD, Betty Adams and Nancy Wiggins, both of Rising Sun, MD.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter: Shirley L. Wilson.
