Doris Marie Berry Doris Marie Berry, age 80, of Charlestown, Maryland died Tuesday, September 30, 2003, at her home. Born in Wilmington, Delaware on May 1, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Charles J. and Anna Mary Baldwin Woolery. She was a resident of Cecil County, Maryland for 32 years. Mrs. Berry retired in 1996 from the Town of Charlestown, Maryland with 20 years of service as Town Clerk. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Charlestown Volunteer Fire Department. She enjoyed knitting and spending her summers in North Wildwood, New Jersey. Mrs. Berry was the wife of the late William R. Berry, Sr., who died November 11, 1975. She is survived by her children, Diane M. Letts and her husband, Joseph and William R. Berry, Jr. and his wife, Gail all of Charlestown, Maryland and Robert C. Berry and his wife, Catherine, North East, Maryland, six grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, October 3, 2003, at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, Maryland. Family and friends are invited to visit from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, October 2, 2003 at the funeral home. Father Leonard Kempski of the Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, Perryville, Maryland will officiate. Interment will follow services in Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle, Delaware.
