Donna Diane Williams, 70, of Rising Sun, Maryland, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2026.
Born on June 3, 1956, Donna was a woman whose life was defined by love, devotion, and the deep bonds she shared with her family. She possessed a warm and caring heart and had a gentle way of making those around her feel loved and welcomed. Her greatest happiness came from being surrounded by the people she loved most.
Donna was a homemaker for much of her life and also worked at Sewell Plastics. She found joy in the simple pleasures of everyday life. She loved cooking and crocheting, caring for animals, and, most of all, spending precious time with her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the true treasures of her life. She was a proud grandmother of nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, each of whom held a very special place in her heart.
Donna's love was expressed not only in words, but in the countless little things she did for the people around her. She was generous with her time, caring in her actions, and happiest when she could be of comfort or help to someone she loved. Her family will forever remember the warmth of her presence, the memories shared around the kitchen table, the laughter, and the many ordinary moments that became extraordinary simply because Donna was there.
Donna was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Arnold Williams; her parents, James Ray Dalton and Theadoshie May West.
She leaves behind a loving family who will carry her memory in their hearts, including her daughter, Debbie Williams (Kenneth Hickman); her son, David Williams (Carla); her daughter, Tabatha Williams; her sister, Judy Hall; and her brother, Robert Dalton. She is also lovingly remembered by her nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, along with extended family and dear friends who were blessed to know her.
Donna's life was one of love, family, and devotion. Though her passing leaves a profound emptiness in the hearts of those who loved her, the love she gave so freely will remain a lasting part of their lives. Her family will treasure her memory, speak of her often, and carry the lessons of her kindness and love with them always.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, Maryland. Friends and family are invited to gather one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., to pay their respects and share in remembrance of Donna. Rev. Dennis Gilbert will officiate.
Interment will be private at Harford Memorial Cemetery.
May Donna's memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved her, and may the love she gave throughout her life continue to live on through the family she cherished so dearly.
