Donald Vanaman

Vanaman, Sr. Donald, 54, of Cape May, NJ passed away, at home, early Tuesday morning. Don Vanaman was born May 16, 1955 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, in Cape May Court House, NJ to Robert and Joan Robson Vanaman. He is survived by two sons, Don April of North Cape May and Joseph of Villas, and a daughter Danielle of Elkton, MD; three grandchildren: Liberty, 14, Marshal, 12, and Avery, 1; six siblings: Brenda Andy Ridgway, Robert Jr. Paula, Thomas Heidi, Pamela Green, David Kim, and Alice DiCola. He also had fifteen nieces and nephews. Don was a life-long resident of Cape May County and worked throughout his life as a commercial fisherman, custom builder, and as a landscaper. He had a strong love for family, children, animals, photography, gardening, fishing, dancing, cowboy boots, Hawaiian shirts, Florida, "fresh" bread with peanut butter and jelly, and NASCAR. He also was a huge fan of custom cars, boats, trucks and motorcycles. Memorial service will be held at Evoy's Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, North Cape May, NJ, on November 2, 2009 at 10:00 A.M.
