Donald Roy Stepler, Sr.

Donald Roy Stepler, Sr., 79 of Elkton, MD, died Thursday, May 14, 2009 in the Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE. Born in Chambersburg, PA, on December 21, 1929, he was the son of the late Clarence and the late Margaret Kriechbaum Stepler. Mr. Stepler served in the Army. He was a Lab Tech, retiring from Georgia Gulf Chemical in Delaware City. He was an avid G.I. Joe collector and enjoyed auctions. Survivors include his loving wife: Patricia Ann Stepler of Elkton, MD and a son: Donald R. Stepler, Jr. of Elkton, MD. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Mark Stepler on Oct. 24, 1995, and a daughter Peggy Lou Stepler Bender on June 10, 1999. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at 7:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation for family and friends beginning at 6:00 PM. Rev.
