Donald Herbert Ewing

Donald Herbert Ewing, 47 of Earleville, MD, died Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at home.

Born in Ridley Park, PA, on January 4, 1970, he was the son of Danny Lee and Deborah (Steiner) Ewing of Elkton, MD.

Donny, a member of the YMCA, enjoyed running, rock climbing, dancing, hiking, biking and the outdoors. Most of all he enjoyed spending with his son Devin and daughter Zoe.

He was a Chief Custodian at Leeds Elementary School and custodian at Elkton United Methodist Church.

Donny is survived by his son: Devin C. Ewing of Earleville, MD and his daughter: Zoe May Ewing; twin brother: Danny Ewing (Jessica) of Charlestown, MD; niece: Logan Ewing and nephews: Dylan Ewing and Gavin Ewing.

Friends may call Monday, June 12, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Elkton United Methodist Church, 219 East Main Street, Elkton, MD.

Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Karen Bunnell and Rev. Jack Cohen, will be held Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 11:00 am at Elkton United Methodist Church, 219 East Main Street, Elkton, MD. There will be a viewing 1 hour before the service.
