Dewey R. Mcclanahan
He was born in Jolo, WV, on July 20, 1949 and was a 1968 graduate of North East High School.
Dewey enjoyed working and worked in construction for First State and Krapf Can Do It.
He enjoyed having people over and grilling.
Survivors include: his mother: Wilma (Green) Hutchinson of Elkton, MD; 3 brothers: Terry A. McClanahan of Elkton, MD, Darrell E. McClanahan and Brian K. McClanahan both of North East, MD; 1 uncle: Ted Green; 1 special aunt: Lois Bevins; 2 nieces and 6 nephews; and many cousins and friends.
Dewey was preceded in death by his father: Dewey Lee McClanahan and sister: Brenda J. Kelley.
Funeral service, conducted by Rev. Grant Nelson will be held Friday, December 27, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Interment will be follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Delaware Hospice, in care of the funeral home.
