Delida Rose Cropper

Delida Rose Cropper, 81 of North East, MD, died Monday, August 16, 2010 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Knox County, KY, on March 27, 1929, she was the daughter of the late David Grant and the late Mary Gilbert Cobb. She was the wife of the late Edward C. Cropper who died in 1989. She is survived by her loving children: Charles E. Cropper of Upperco, MD, Patricia A. Falini of North East, MD and Lori Cropper of Williamsburg, VA; her siblings: Max Cobb, Nell Morrison, Elia Lee Cobb, Matti Young, John Cobb and Wade Cobb; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Bert Jicha will be held Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation for family and friends beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Community Hospice, in care of the funeral home.
