Lt JG, Deborah Ann Lloyd, age 33, a resident of Virginia Beach, Virginia, died unexpectedly, October 26, 2003, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Debbie was born in Elkton, Maryland, on February 26, 1970. She graduated from Havre de Grace High School in June 1988, and enlisted in the U.S. Navy, November 1988. She attended Officer Candidate School at the University of Colorado. Upon receiving her degree in 2000, she was commissioned as a United States Naval Officer. Debbie loved serving her country and traveled extensively through her tenure as a naval officer. She loved hiking, camping, white water rafting, hot air ballooning, and was an avid deer hunter. During her free time in Colorado, she worked with the horse rescue organization and became a Red Cross instructor. She volunteered for almost any organization that was involved with helping others. She was a member of the VFW, Mile High rescue organization, and was a certified White Water Rafting guide in Colorado. Debbie will be sorely missed by all those who loved her, she is gone but she will never be forgotten! <br>She is survived by her mother,<br>Juanita Lloyd Goodwin, Virginia Beach, Virginia, father, Jerry Norman Lloyd, his wife Jessica, and step-brother, Alex, all of Daytona Beach, Florida, brother,<br>Brian Keith Lloyd and her nephew,<br>John Wade Hampton Lloyd, both of Perryville, Maryland, former stepmother, Susan Tyrol, Havre de Grace, Maryland, uncles, Frank Goff, Houston, Texas, John Goff, Carpenter's Point, many great-aunts, uncles and cousins of Cumberland, North East, and Elkton, Maryland. <br>Debbie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Porter and Katherine Goff and her uncle, William Goff.<br>Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, November 3, 2003, at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, Maryland. Rev. Murphy with the Assembley Church of God, Elkton, Maryland will officiate. Family and friends are invited to visit, Sunday, November 2, 2003 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Full military honors will be held at North East Methodist Cemetery, 101 Cemetery Road, North East, Maryland, following services at the funeral home.<br>
