Dawn Aileen Wade

Dawn Aileen Wade, 55 of Rising Sun, MD, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024.

She was born in Wilmington, DE, on March 14, 1968, the daughter of Patricia Wade of Rising Sun, MD and the late Sterling C. Wade.

Dawn worked for Medline, Perryville, MD.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son: Dwayne Dougherty of Rising Sun, MD, daughter: Heather Lynn Gentry of Chestertown, MD and twins: Brittany Olson and Nicholas Olson both of Rising Sun, MD; three sisters: Sherry Knight of Goose Creek, SC, Pamela Anderson of Aberdeen, MD and Belinda Saylor of Chesapeake City, MD; and nine grandchildren: John, Jerry, Dwayne, Wade, Tristyn, Hunter, Brianna, Mackynzie and Shealynn.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024 at 11:00 am at the funeral home.

Interment will follow services in Gracelawn Memorial Park, New Castle, DE.
