Dawn Marie Mckinney

Dawn Marie McKinney, 30 of North East, MD, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2008 in the Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE. Born in Towson, MD, on August 21, 1978, she was the daughter of Jeffrey and Deborah Green of North East, MD. Mrs. McKinney was the beloved wife of Jeffrey B. McKinney of North East, MD and mother of two beautiful daughters, Cheyanne Marie Blake and Alexis Lauren McKinney both at home. She graduated with honors from North East High School in 1996. She had a love for Martial Arts and was a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. She also enjoyed going to the beach and loved spending time with her girls. In addition to her loving parents, husband and daughters, she is survived by one brother: Jeffrey M. Green of North East, MD; her maternal grandparents, William and Catherine Kreiss of North East, MD; her grandmother, Patricia M. Wertz of North East, MD; two uncles, Howard and Robert Kreiss both of North East, MD; and also many other uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation for family and friends will be held at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD on Thursday, December 18, 2008 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Friday, December 19, 2008 starting at 10:00 AM before the service. Funeral service will be held Friday, December 19, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Rev. Daniel T. Gedman will officiate. Interment will be private.
