David Arnold Williams, 76, of Rising Sun, Maryland, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2026, at Christiana Care Union Hospital.

Born on August 25, 1949, in Havre de Grace, Maryland, David was the son of the late Eugene Beard Williams, Sr., and Lilly Mae Patterson.

David was a hardworking and dedicated man whose strong work ethic was evident throughout his life. As a young man, he worked alongside his father as a dairy farmer on the family farm, where he learned the value of perseverance, responsibility, and honest labor. He later built a successful career as a plumber and superintendent with The FarField Company, earning the respect of his coworkers through his skill, leadership, and willingness to lend a helping hand whenever it was needed.

More important than any job or title, however, was David's love for his family. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend whose greatest joy came from the people he loved. Whether sharing stories, enjoying time together, or simply being present for those who needed him, David had a special way of making everyone around him feel welcome, valued, and cared for.

David found great joy in life's simple pleasures. He especially loved playing cards, with Texas Hold 'Em being one of his favorite pastimes. He could often be found watching classic westerns, a genre he thoroughly enjoyed, or spending peaceful days fishing whenever he had the chance. David also had a passion for CB radio. He enjoyed 'shooting skip'  where he spent countless hours talking with friends and fellow operators, all of whom knew him by his CB handle, "630."

David leaves behind his beloved wife, Donna Williams; his children, Debbie Williams and her partner, Kenneth Hickman, David Williams and his wife, Carla, and Tabitha Williams. He was also the proud grandfather of nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him immeasurable pride and happiness. He will also be lovingly remembered by his extended family, many dear friends, and all whose lives were enriched by his kindness, friendship, and unforgettable spirit.

David will be remembered for the life he built, the family he cherished, and the many memories he leaves behind. His quiet strength, generous heart, and unwavering love for those closest to him will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Though his presence will be deeply missed, the love, lessons, laughter, and countless memories he shared will remain with his family and friends for years to come.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 S. Main Street, North East, Maryland, followed by a funeral service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Harford Memorial Gardens at 3839 Aldino Road, Aberdeen, MD 21001.
