David Tweed

David "Mickey" Mitchell Tweed, 39 of Rising Sun, MD, died Saturday, May 12, 2007 in the Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE. Born in Wilmington, DE, on March 15, 1968, he was the son of Lois Sexton Tweed of Rising Sun, MD and the late Vaughn Tweed. He attended Cecil County Activity Center. Mickey participated in Special Olympics. His activities included bowling, basketball, track, bocce ball and softball throwing. Mickey's favorite interest was his love for music. His hobby was putting together puzzles. Mickey loved watching sports, especially wrestling, boxing and Nascar. He loved day trips and his special place to eat was Popeye's. In addition to his mother, Mickey is survived by three sisters: Sharon Grove of Calabash, NC; Patty Nieves of Wilmington, DE; and Nancy Cecil of Elkton, MD. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where family and friends may call Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
