David Harold Taylor, 63, passed away Tuesday morning, January 27 at his home in North East.
David was the husband of Tina M. Taylor. He was raised in the Baltimore area and attended Essex Elementary and Stemmers Run Jr. High. He received his GED in the Army. He entered the Army in August 1968 and was discharged in 1970 due to a family hardship.

Dave worked for both Sullair and Chrysler Corp as a mechanic for most of his working career. He enjoyed fishing, boating, motorcycling, woodworking, and hunting. He was also a Volunteer Firefighter/EMT with the North East Fire Department. He was a lifetime member of the fire department and the Elkton VFW.

Surviving are his wife of 15 years, Tina; two sons, David J. Taylor and wife Heidi, Michael Taylor and wife Crystal; and two daughters, Christy Dye and husband Tim, Amber Myers and fiancé, Phil Powers. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John Taylor; Jacob and Mattison Dye and Tucker Taylor; his mother, Irene Bernstein and one brother, Warren Allen Taylor of Essex, MD.  He will be greatly missed by his four-legged children, Inkey and Baby.

The family will receive guests on Friday evening at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Saturday morning, beginning at 10:00 am until service time. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 11:00 am.

John D. Waltermyer, Pastor of Tabernacle Regular Baptist Church, Brogue, PA will officiate.

Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.

Flowers are welcome or memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Vietnam Veterans Association, both in care of the funeral home.
