David Ralph Kinsley

David Ralph Kinsley, 60 of North East, MD, died Saturday, June 20, 2009 on his boat in Shelter Cove Yacht Basin, North East, MD. Born in Abbington, PA, on November 22, 1948, he was the son of William Ross of West Chester, PA and the late Iris Hoffman Ross. Mr. Kinsley was the beloved husband of Vickie L. Kinsley of North East, MD. He served during the Vietnam War in the Army. He was a truck driver, employed by M.S.P. Equipment Rental. Mr. Kinsley was a member of First Baptist Church of North East, North East, MD and American Legion Post #0025, Middletown, DE. He enjoyed boating, pool, his dogs and especially his family. In addition to his loving wife and father, survivors include: his daughter: Iris West of Wasilla, AK; stepchildren, Sean and Tasha Lawrence both of North East, MD; his siblings: Walt Kinsley of Rosebud, MO, Iris Kinsley of Philadelphia, PA, Jimmy Ross of NJ, Barbara Ross of Philadelphia, PA, Nancy Zudans of West Chester, PA, Debbie Hocker of PA, and Bill Ross of North East, MD. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Turkey Point Lighthouse, Elk Neck State Park, North East, MD, where visitation for family and friends will begin at 1:00 PM. Rev. Daniel Mohler will officiate. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be sent to Northern Chesapeake Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 2332, Elkton, MD 21922.
