David "Boom Baby Wayne" Hodgson

David “Boom Baby Wayne” Hodgson, 50 of Elkton, MD, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016.

A lifelong resident of Cecil County, he was born in Elkton on August 28, 1966.

David worked as a concrete finisher and enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, camping and listening to good country music.

He is survived by his parents: Joseph D. and Shirley (Roush) Hodgson of Elkton, MD; a son: Joshua Hodgson (Katy) and grandson: Keiran Hodgson of Nottingham, PA; a daughter: Amanda K. Hodgson; his fiancé: Joanna L. Eastridge of Elkton, MD; two stepchildren: Brittany F. Eastridge, Joshua Keith Eastridge; granddaughter: Malaya Eastridge; grandson: Makai Johnson; sister: Joanne Franks (Jim) of Colora, MD; brother: William Daniel Hodgson (Rosalisa) of North East, MD; his best friend: Robert "Beany" Crockett; and several cousins, nieces, nephews and good friends.

Funeral service, conducted by Rev. David Rash will be held Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where visitation will begin at 10:00 am until service.

Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
