David Ray Fitzroy

David Ray Fitzroy, 52 of Elkton, MD, died Friday, January 6, 2012 at Union Hospital, Elkton, MD. Born in Norristown, PA, on July 25, 1959, he was the son of Rosa Lee Butler Fitzroy of Elkton, MD and the late George F. "Skip" Fitzroy. David worked at McDonald's in North East, MD for 12 years. He was a member of the North East Lions Club. He participated in the Special Olympics for many years. In addition to his mother, he is survived by 2 sisters: Terri L. Vannoy and Vicki L. Holbrook both of Elkton, MD and 1 brother: George F. Fitzroy, III of Newark, DE; 9 nieces and nephews; and 7 great nieces and great nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM until service time. Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
