Danny Lee Ewing

Danny Lee Ewing, 76 of Elkton, MD, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025 in Harbor Hospital, Baltimore, MD.

Born in Elkton, MD, on July 7, 1948, he was the son of the late Charles J. “Dickie” Ewing and the late Mary (Rogers) Ewing Cordill. He was the husband of the late Debora Jean Ewing who passed February 11, 2021. He was also preceded in death by a son, Donny H. Ewing.

Danny served his country proudly in the U.S. Army, 101st Airborne.  He retired from Amtrak after 34 years of service.

He enjoyed riding his Harley, boating on the Northeast River, gardening, and maintaining his lawn.  He was a die-hard Redskins fan, liked getting together with friends and family for crabs and Yuengling. His dogs were his constant companions. Most of all, he loved his family.

Survivors include one son: Daniel Leon Ewing (Jessica) of Charlestown, MD; five grandchildren: Dylan J. Ewing (Chelsea), Devin C. Ewing (Brandy), Logan M. Ewing, Zoe May Ewing, Gavin W. Ewing; and his four great-grandchildren: Jamison, Makenna, Claire, and Layne.
