Daniel R. Loving Jr, 48, a longtime resident of Garland, ME, passed away suddenly and went to be with his Lord and Savior on Dec. 18, 2016.

Born in Elkton, MD on Oct. 31, 1968, he was raised in North East, MD, graduated from North East High School and Arundel Inst. of Tech., Baltimore. He spent a lot of time at his family’s property in WV. He served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corp Reserves.

Dan was the Operations Manager for Dish Network, Bangor, ME.

A devoted father and husband, Dan enjoying time spent with his daughters. He also enjoyed the outdoors, golf, hunting, four wheeling and snowmobiling. He was a member of the Bradford Baptist Church and Garland Fire Department.

Dan is survived by his wife: Donna Loving; his daughters: Haley and Hope Loving; his mother: Jane Flaugher of North East; his step mother: Carol Loving of North East; 4 stepsisters: Vicky Kinsley and Tara Carty both of North East, Tammy Borden of Rising Sun and Michele Tolbert of Elkton; his lifelong best friend: Charles Narvel of Elkton; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was also a father figure to exchange student: Khanh Le.

He was preceded in death by his father: Daniel R. Loving Sr.

He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.

Funeral services were held at Bradford Baptist Church in Bradford, ME.

Graveside services will be private.

Memorial donations may be made to the Bradford Baptist Church, in care of Crouch Funeral Home, 127 S. Main St., North East, MD 21901.
