Daniel Ray Loving

Daniel Ray Loving, 68 of North East, MD, died Thursday, October 20, 2011 in Union Hospital, Elkton, MD. Born in Birch River, WV, on January 5, 1943, he was the son of the late Fred and the late Faye Tingler Loving. Mr. Loving was the beloved husband of Carolyn S. Loving, North East, MD. He worked as a Manager in Quality Assurance at Pirelli Cable, Elkton. Daniel served in the MD National Guard. He was a member of the North East Lions Club. He enjoyed his Dachshund, bluegrass music, NASCAR and going fishing and camping. In addition to his loving wife, survivors include his son: Daniel R. Loving, Jr. of Garland, ME; stepdaughters: Victoria Kinsley of North East, MD and Tara Carty of Cochranville, PA; his siblings: twin brother, David A. Loving of Port Deposit, MD, Charles A. Loving of North East, MD, Sam Loving of Birch River, WV, Linda Phelps of Pensacola, FL, Mary Sparrow of Deltona, FL, Jean McMillion of North East, MD, Orval Loving of Cross Lanes, WV and Dottie Nutter of Ravenswood, WV; 6 grandchildren and 3 ¾ great grandchildren. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Dr. Stephen D. Hokuf will be held Monday, October 24, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation for family and friends beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East.
