Daniel Robert Gerres

Daniel Robert Gerres, 61 of North East, MD, died Sunday, September 11, 2022 at home.

He was born in Wilmington, DE, on February 18, 1961.

Daniel was working for Amtrak as a car repairman.  He enjoyed playing cards and watching the Eagles play.  Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survived by his wife: Bonnie Lee (Green) Gerres; his children: Jonathan L. Gerres (Brittany) of Felton, DE, Daniel R. Gerres II (Courtney) of Elkton, MD, Matthew L. Gerres of Bel Air, MD, Brittany E. Gerres (Alexis) of Magnolia, DE; his beloved grandchildren: Jonathan, Jase, Layton, Leelan, Alex and Wyatt; his mother: Anna (Ruebeck) Rose of Wilmington, DE; siblings: Larry Gerres of AZ, Kathleen Gerres of Wilmington, DE and Wendy Andrews of Bear, DE; and sister-in-law: Bebbie Gerres.

He was preceded in death by his father: Thomas Gerres; and two brothers: Thomas and Joseph Gerres.
