D. Samuel Farrell

D. Samuel Farrell, 85, a retiree of the Boeing Company died Thursday, October 8, 2015 in the Riddle Memorial Hospital, Media, PA.

Born in Rahway, NJ, on November 3, 1929, he was the son of the late Samuel C. and the late Henrietta (Anderson) Farrell.   He was the husband of the late Sherrill Elaine Farrell who died January 14, 2005.

Mr. Farrell lived in Concord Township for the last 50 years.  He worked for the Boeing Company at various locations for 39 years and retired in 1992 from Boeing Helicopters, Ridley Township.

Mr. Farrell was a member of the Mount Hope Methodist Church, Aston, PA.  He was also a Gold Card Member of the Boeing Management Association.

Mr. Farrell served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

Surviving are his sons: Pat of Exton, PA and Kelly of Lancaster, PA; and his two grandchildren: Gina and Evan.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm until service time.

Interment will follow in North East Methodist Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the charity of the donor’s choice or the Mount Hope Methodist Church, in care of the funeral home, would be appreciated by the family.
