Constance L. Gibson also known as “Dolly”, 93 of North East, MD, died Thursday, May 8, 2014 at home.
She was born in Wilmington, DE, on May 4, 1921. Constance was the daughter of the late Sam and Sarah (Cartelli) Lanteri.
Dolly was a sales clerk at Cramers 5 & 10 and Armour’s Market. During World War II, she worked at the Triumph (Navy Side) in Elkton, Maryland.
She was a part of many organizations. Dolly was a charter member of the Lady Lion’s in North East, Maryland and was the past president of the Chief Petty Officers Wives Club in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. She was also a member of the United Methodist Church in North East, Maryland. Dolly enjoyed bowling.
She is predeceased by her late husband of 52 years, William M. “Bud” Gibson who died in 2003
Visitation will be held, May 13, 2014 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD.
The Funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East
Interment will be Wednesday, May 14, 2014 in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions maybe made to the North East Fire Company, c/o, Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, Maryland 21901.
