Clydine C. (Weddle) Sweeney
Born in Frederick, MD, on November 2, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Columbus and the late Evelyn (Ward) Weddle.
She retired as a Deputy 1st class from the Cecil County Sheriff’s Office, with 15 year’s service. She had previously worked at the University of Delaware overseeing dining services.
Survived by her husband of 52 years: John C Sweeney of Elkton, MD; two sons: J. Michael Sweeney of Middletown, DE, and Shawn Patrick Sweeney of Elkton, MD; and her grandchildren: Ashley, Brianna, Allyson, and Michael.
She was preceded in death by a daughter: Jacqueline Mae Sweeney.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 11:00 am at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 10:00 am until service time.
Interment following services will be in North East Methodist Cemetery, North East, MD.
