Clifford "Don" Harmon Edwards

Clifford Harmon Edwards, 79 of Conowingo, MD, died Friday, November 30, 2018 in the Elkton Transitional Care Center, Elkton, MD.

Born in Elsmere, DE, on July 20, 1939, he was the son of the late John R. and Lena Alaya (Pass) Edwards.

Prior to retirement, he was self-employed, working in small engine repair.  Many years ago he worked at NVF in Newark, DE.

Mr. Edwards was a former member of the Delaware National Guard. He also was a member of Aetna Fire Department, Newark, DE, Water Witch Fire Department, Port Deposit, MD and the Newark Anglers Association.

Survived by his wife: Betty Edwards of Conowingo, MD; daughters: Dawn Thompson (Bruce) of Bear, DE and Lorraine Annand of FL; stepdaughters: Donna Deckard and Sandy Lloyd (Robert); stepson: Stanley Campbell; Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandson: Tyler Alan Thompson.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 12:00 pm in the Chapel at Harford Memorial Gardens, 3839 Aldino Road, Aberdeen, MD. Visitation 1 hour before the service.

Entombment will follow services.
