Claudette Margaret (Marshall) Kazmaier

Claudette Margaret Kazmaier, 78 of Perryville, MD, died Monday, August 20, 2012 in Union Hospital, Elkton, MD.

Born in Baltimore, MD, on October 12, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Thomas N. and the late Margaret Anna (Jones) Marshall.  She was the wife of the late Wallace Joseph Kazmaier who died March 15, 1989.

Mrs. Kazmaier retired after 38 years as a Service Consultant for Verizon.  She was a member of the Communication Workers of America, Local 2101, where she served as Shop Steward; was past President of N.E.F.L.A.; and a member of Telephone Pioneers of America.

Survivors include her children: Leslie A. Strimel and her husband Franklin L. of Perryville, MD, Michael H. Kazmaier and his wife Virginia of North East, MD, Claudette M.E. Brooks and her husband Douglas J. of Port Richey, FL, Thomas J. Kazmaier and companion Anne Ewasko of Newport, DE; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, August 24, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Church Of The Good Shepherd, Perryville, MD.

Interment will follow in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Baltimore, MD.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Northern Chesapeake Hospice Foundation, in care of the funeral home.
