Claude A. Stevens
Born in Cleveland, VA, on July 6, 1926, he was the son of the late Robert P. and the late Anna (Rasnake) Stevens. He was the husband of the late Iva Nell Stevens who died on August 23, 2009.
Mr. Stevens retired from Thrift Way where he worked as a meat cutter. He very much enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family and friends.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of North East.
Survivors include his 2 daughters: Judy Musick of Rising Sun, MD, Claudette Wilkinson ( Chuck) of Hockessin, DE; 1 sister: Viola Crabtree of VA; 4 half-sisters: Ethel, Mary Ann, Carnell and Nadine; 1 half-brother:, Ned; 7 grandchildren: Steven Musick (Heather), John Musick (Erin), Melissa Cohen (Jack), Amanda Musick Parsons (Richie), Chad Wilkinson, Chase Wilkinson and Adrianna Wilkinson; and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Dr. Stephen D. Hokuf will be held Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Crouch Funeral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where the family will receive guests on Friday evening, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Interment will follow services in North East Methodist Cemetery.
