Clarice Beverly W.T. Nesbit

Clarice Beverly W.T. Nesbit, 61 of Newport, DE, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, August 1, 2010 at Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE. Born in Elkton, MD, on December 28, 1948, she was the daughter of the late George F. Jones, Sr. and the late Marie Inez Barbaria Jones. She was a licensed vocational nurse for over 35 years. She was an active election officer for the state of Delaware for several years. She is survived by her children: Michael C. Wright of Elkton, MD, Tanyita Nesbit Ruley of Laurel, MD, Shawn L. Nesbit of Hockessin, DE, Charisse L. Nesbit of Los Angeles, CA and Ryan S. Thompson of Elkton, MD; her fiancé: David V. Burns of Newport, DE; her siblings: George F. Jones, Jr. of Oxford, PA, Keith A. Jones of Debary, FL, Roderick R. Jones of Aurora, CO, Jason V. Jones, Sr. of Rising Sun, MD, Jerry J. Jones, Sr. of North East, MD and Patricia M. Hall of Newark, DE; 17 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, 1 beloved pet BJ and 1 grandpet Boo. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Graeson T. Boddy. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. George N. Harris, will be held Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 12:00 Noon at North East United Methodist Church, 308 South Main Street, North East, MD, with visitation for family and friends beginning at 10:00 AM.
