Clarence M. "Pepper" Levredge, age 94, of Elkton, Maryland, died Monday, June 23, 2003, at Laurelwood Health Care, Elkton, Maryland. Born in Elkton, Maryland on July 21, 1908, he was a son of the late, Clarence J. and Marie Poore Levredge. He was a lifelong resident of Cecil County, Maryland. Pepper was a self-employed Dairy Farmer. He was a member of the Union United Methodist Church, Elkton, Maryland and the North East Band. He enjoyed rabbit and coon hunting. Pepper was the husband of the late, Agnes Cullis Levredge, who died in 1988. He is survived by a son, John A. Levredge, Elkton, Maryland; a sister, Ada Walbeck, California and 4 grandchildren. In addition to his parents and his wife, Pepper was preceded in death by a son, Clarence Robert Levredge who died in 1991. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 26, 2003 at Crouch Funeral Home, 127 South Main Street, North East, Maryland where family and friends may call one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Rev. Donald Alford of Union United Methodist Church, Union Church and Leeds Road, Elkton, Maryland will officiate. Interment will follow services in Union Cemetery, Elkton, Maryland.
